A Very Important Message Regarding COVID-19
Greetings Emmanuel Members and our Extended Family,
I want to provide our updated response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are committed to the best care for the spiritual and physical well-being of everyone who calls Emmanuel home or chooses to spend time in our fellowship. After much prayer about the possible effects of COVID-19 on our congregation, we are suspending all on-campus activities, effective immediately. This includes all ministry meetings, outside facility rentals, and on-campus gatherings. We will reevaluate the pandemic status at the beginning of April and send updated info Friday, April 3, 2020. Essential staff will be available on-site as needed.
During this time, we will stream our worship service at 10 am beginning this Sunday, March 15, 2020. The link will be available on www.emmanuelbc.org. We’ll also have a link on our FaceBook page. If this time does not work for you, the service will be available on YouTube.
We plan to implement Emmanuel Prayer and Check-In Groups via teleconference. It is my personal desire to have every church member in a group. Our plan is to have group meetings twice a day, one in the early morning and one in the evening Monday through Saturday. We ask that each member select one of the available time slots that works best for your schedule. Sign-up information will follow in the next few days.
DITW is fast-tracking online courses. If we have to go beyond March, we should have some online courses available for people to continue to grow in God’s Word
God still loves a cheerful giver! During this time Online giving is available and encouraged. Mail-in giving is also available.
Psalm 91:1 says, "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Philippians 4:8 say, "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” We should stay prayerful and be reminded we still have much to be thankful for.

It is extremely important that you take care of yourself mentally during these stressful times. If you are in need of support for you or a friend or family member:
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. "
