"I am the Vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." - John 15:5

Malachi 3:10
What Is A Tithe? A tithe is 10 percent of a whole. A tither is a believer who honors God with 10 % of his/her income. A tither demonstrates the truth that a tithe is not only the 10 percent of income, it is also the spirit in which we bring our gifts to the Lord that hits the target. In giving , we are simply not doing what God wants us to do, more importantly, we are submitting ourselves to be made more in the image of Christ. When we tithe and give offerings above and beyond the tithe,

  • We recognize God's ownership of all things, freeing us from a possessive and anxious spirit.
  • We grow in spiritual commitment to Him.
  • We affirm that God's gracious gifts of money and possessions are provisions of a loving Father.

Tithing is a valid biblical principle, a standard we should not neglect. It is only the beginning point in the ministry of giving. What is a Steward? A Steward is an asset manager, one who is responsible to be in charge of God's property on earth. They safeguard and attend to everything entrusted to their care.
