What Is A Tithe? A tithe is 10 percent of a whole. A tither is a believer who honors God with 10 % of his/her income. A tither demonstrates the truth that a tithe is not only the 10 percent of income, it is also the spirit in which we bring our gifts to the Lord that hits the target. In giving , we are simply not doing what God wants us to do, more importantly, we are submitting ourselves to be made more in the image of Christ. • We grow in spiritual commitment to Him.
• We affirm that God's gracious gifts of money and possessions are provisions of a loving Father.

Tithing is a valid biblical principle, a standard we should not neglect. It is only the beginning point in the ministry of giving. What is a Steward? The primary purpose of the EBC Stewardship Team is to provide avenues of on-going stewardship education to the Church body.
