Our mission is to lead everyone to become a committed

Christ-follower.

Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The LORD has spoken! - Isaiah 40:5 NLT

Emmanuel is a friendly, loving, nurturing, multi-racial, inclusive, and united church family where everyone is welcome. Everyone is following Christ and leading others to Him. The vision of Emmanuel Baptist Church is:

  • Everyone reading God’s Word (the Bible) individually, studying it collectively, applying it personally, and growing spiritually toward becoming a minister.
  • Everyone doing their part - using their spiritual gifts, natural talents, professional/ vocational abilities, and financial gifts for the glory of God and His kingdom, for the good of the Church, and for the improvement of the community.
  • Everyone praying persistently, passionately, effectively both individually and collectively.
  • Everyone loving each other and eagerly keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, and doing all things in the Spirit of Christ.
  • Everyone seeking opportunities for spiritual growth, new and better ideas for solving problems, and ministry expansion.
  • Everyone coming to Emmanuel for equipping, encouraging, and energizing.
  • Everyone being a bold witness for Christ and influencing their families, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances as well as impacting their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities to do likewise.

We also envision Emmanuel as a beautiful and powerful church led by the Spirit, that is:

  • Serving as a comprehensive resource center and reaching out to the community in numerous ways to meet all needs of those within its community.
  • Reaching compassionately beyond social stigmas, ethnic lines, classes, and other barriers to provide aid, warmth, care, hope, and acceptance to others.
  • Providing fully inclusive, relevant and engaging programs for children, youth, young adults, men, women and seniors.
  • Filled constantly and over flowing with people, who are being touched, set free, transformed, and forever redeemed by experiencing the unconditional love and power of Jesus Christ.
  • Sending out numerous members as missionaries, church workers, and church planters all around the world.

Finally, we envision Emmanuel as an exemplary God-fearing church that demonstrates the fruit of the Holy Spirit and whose creative, inspiring, authentic, heartfelt worship in Spirit and in truth; deep faith, and obedience to Christ touch Heaven and change the earth.
