Discipleship

You might ask, "What is a disciple?" A disciple is a follower of Christ. This is central to our mission as a church. Inherent in following Christ is getting to know Him, getting to know ourselves within Him, serving Him, leading others to Him, and ministering to anyone in need - for Him. In all of this we grow deeper in Him and grow closer to Him.

Jesus said, "I am the Vine you are the branches."

The Discipleship Ministry assists in getting new Christ-followers and/or new members "planted" to start growing in this segment of God's vast vineyard - Emmanuel.

Our Discipleship Ministry exists to assist in getting this whole process going. We help new Christ-followers and/or new Emmanuel members to get "planted" and start growing in what Christ is doing in this segment of God's vast vineyard.

So how do we go about doing that? We do it through (1) conducting new member orientation, (2) offering courses , and (3) .

New Member Orientation Sessions:

Every 3rd Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Agape Hall

Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Main Sanctuary
